Over at The Abundant Mystic Tribe we’ve had some great conversations about Introversion and Extroversion and how where we fall on that spectrum influences and impacts our Awakening Journey.
Just came across this really incredible video that gets right to the heart of the Introvert Extrovert discussion. It’s not focused on the Awakening aspect but still very applicable to our exploration as Awakening Abundant Mystics.
Just a couple of minutes and well worth watching… if only for the amazing and somewhat mesmerizing art that accompanies the narration.

Wish I could draw like that – very amusing to watch the pages fill up with her artistry!
Over the past 15 years , I have had so many products, books and other ideas but have yet to have the “drive” or whatever is needed to follow thru. Exciting that – if I understand you correctly – it is not all me and lack of will power. Now I need to find a good extravert.
Although the film was short it said loads. Great to hear positive thoughts about being introverted.I believe in the age Aquarious we are all on the path of discovering our Ying/yang to embrace our extrovert and introvert,, and to know when to be one or theother
Good point Marie, about knowing WHEN to be one or the other. It’s so true that we have the capacity to be both… even though we have a tendency to spend more of our time on one end of the spectrum.
This world is big enough and needs all of us! Respect and value Everyone’s contribution….
you’ll be amazed at what can happen.
Yes indeed Maureen! Here’s to being Amazed!
The narrator for the video is Susan Cain, author of the book “Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop a Talking.” Cain is a self-proclaimed introvert. Her book is a very well-researched and insightful book.
Yes, Sandy! And she also has a wonderful Ted Talk here: http://www.ted.com/talks/susan_cain_the_power_of_introverts?language=en
