Create a Solid Foundation

The first step in the Spiritual Mentoring process will be to help you create a solid foundation in your life. It might seem counter intuitive to be building a solid foundation when the very ground on which you stand seems so shaky… and when you are seeking to enhance your more than physical perceptions.

But it is your solid foundation and strong grounding in the physical world that allows you to expand your more than physical perceptions.

Your solid foundation also allows you to be a stable, grounding force for others as we move through these changes.

You become the calm center in the growing storm.

And as the storm around you grows ever stronger… and your grounding becomes more solid… you will find yourself being a source of support and comfort for more and more people.

What does it mean to have a solid foundation in the physical world?

It looks different for everyone but there are a few key components:

A healthy connection with your physical body

You respect your body as the beautiful temple that it is. You have consistent self care practices that support and restore your vitality and well being.

A solid financial foundation

You don’t need to be a gazillionaire, however your basic financial needs must be covered consistently… If they are not… if you are spending time wondering and worrying about how you are going to pay the bills or get the extra money you want to go on a retreat you are wasting a lot of your precious and limited Life-Force Energy thinking and worrying about money.

A stable community

The time of the lone wolf is over. We cannot get through the massive changes alone. We are being called back into community. Part of the work building your stable foundation will include the creation of a strong community.

A strong connection to Source/Spirit/God/The Universe

Ultimately it is your connection to the creative intelligence of the universe that will guide you and support you through these changing times. As part of your foundation you will rekindle and deepen your connection with the creative intelligence of the universe.
